Harbour Party NYE

Music, Fireworks, Rides & New Years Resolutions

If the poshness of heading to Ivy for New Years Eve doesn’t rattle your cage and you need a little more adventure, then maybe you’d prefer Luna Park for Harbour Party?

Let’s think about that a second … you’re on the harbour, surrounded by picturesque views and twinkling lights plus you have the excitement of all the Luna Park rides, carnival atmosphere and some pretty heavyweight musical acts to help make the Harbour Party a New Years experience, not just a night out.

Harbour Party Line Up

Don’t forget about the being “best seat in the house” for the Sydney Fireworks – do you even need me to go into the lineup?

Oh alright, I give you a couple of teasers anyway…

  • Legendary German producers Digitalism will take centre stage: Doing their only Sydney DJ set, remixing artists such Daft Punk, Klaxons, White Stripes and Tiga, Digitalism has a massive fan base and reputation making this a must see show!
  • Snob Scrilla takes a break from recording his new album to man the decks and throw down his DJ set for the Harbour Party (new album coming? Hazzah!).
  • SneakySoundSystem Spending New Years Eve in SydneySneaky Sound System back from shaking up the Shanghai World Expo and a stint in UK & Europe for the summer season with shows all over, including Pacha @ Ibiza – get set for the local Sydneysiders to blast their way on stage.
  • Dance music renegade twosome, The Only, are set to unload their take no prisoners live performance and bring the rave radness. The Only’s debut single ‘The Only F*cking Rave Party’ landed in the ARIA Singles Chart Top 50, ahead of it’s official release and without any radio play. This atomic tune went on to hit #1 on the Australian Independent Music Chart and become the #1 Australian Artist Dance Single in the country. Need I say more about them?

Alongside those above, Dennis Ferrer, Riva Starr, Goodwill, Metals and Nina Las Vegas – with more acts STILL to be announced.

Pacha NYE Ivy Pacha & Ministry Of Sound New Years in SydneyPacha @ Ivy New Years Eve

If you’re on the East coast, then perhaps SouthBound 2011 for New Years Day won’t work for you.

But don’t despair Sydneysiders… at least you can get your New Years Eve groove on with the Pacha crew at Ivy.

Billed as the absolute who’s who event and venue for New Years, clubbing Ibiza group Pacha announce major international drawcards for this year’s NYE party are Basement Jaxx and Bob Sinclair.  And that won’t be all, given so many internationals and local legendary DJs are on the summer festival circuit, you can expect that Pacha at Ivy will not disappoint even the most silver-spooned punter.

If that doesn’t get you saving all your pretty pennies to schmooze amongst the glitterati in Ivy for New Years, then not much will.
