The Splendid team are heading back to Woodfordia (Qld) again this year, for the 11th year of Splendour in the Grass.
And it’s a big one! You’ll be to catch over 81 acts spread across 3 tents and 3 days – that is, if you’re able to grab tickets.
The annual, ephemeral city of sounds that exists soley for sweet music and good times will transform Woodfordia … Friday 29 to Sunday 31 July”
Splendour anounces the Line Up
The artist listing for 2011 Splendour in the Grass was announced this morning. The entire line-up that is, no staggering of announcements this year. And oh, what a mammoth list it is!
Let’s see – Coldplay, Kayne, Mars Volta, BnE, Pnau … oh, tooooo many artists to list here. I mean, where would I really start? The internationals? the nationals? the locals? the Hip Hop? the up & comers?
Check out the full Splendour list here – or get your @rse across to Splendour in the Grass.
Many artists who have been there numerous times plus loads of first timers… I think it would be more concerning for the bands that are NOT on the Splendour list.
There is also of course the Tipi Forest, Global Village, numerous bars, a “mini mall” and “Splendour Day Spa”.
“How to Get Splendour Tickets?”
There will be two types of tickets available – ‘Event Only’ ticket or ‘Event + Camping’ ticket (with room for 21,000 campers!).
- Event Only – $390 + BFs (or $3 extra for carbon offset)
- Event + Camping – $510 + BFs (or $3 extra for carbon offset)
Tickets go on sale 9am Thursday 5 May solely through Moshtix.
Good luck!
