Gorillaz heading down under in December

So far this year they have played at festivals across Europe, namely, Glastonbury in the UK, Roskilde in Denmark and Benicassim Festival in Spain.

Now Gorillaz are set to bring their “Escape to Plastic Beach World Tour” to Australia (& New Zealand).

Gorillaz Background
Conceived as the first “virtual hip-hop group,” Gorillaz blends musical talents with arresting animated visuals. Gorillaz debuted in late 2000 with the Tomorrow Comes Today EP, followed by the Clint Eastwood single.

Their self-titled full-length debut arrived in spring 2001. Gorillaz was a massive worldwide success and achieved platinum-level sales.

New Gorillaz Album

Gorillaz latest album, Plastic Beach, recently debuted with chart success around the world, including #2 positions in the US and UK, and #1 chart positions in Australia and Austria. The album went to #1 in the Billboard Alternative Chart, and #1 in digital charts in USA, Australia, Austria, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.
