Triple J Unearthed High winner announced

Iotah bring home the Unearthed High gong

Congratulations goes to Iotah on winning Triple J’s Unearthed High competition.

Winning from more than 600 and 6 finalists, Iotah are four sisters from Gisborne, just outside Melbourne, who say they are heavily influenced by old school rock.

Screeching vocals, electrifying riffs, keys and driving beats are streaming from the cracks of a shed in the hills.”

The girls will be flown to Sydney to record their track, as well as putting on a lunchtime gig at Gisborne Secondary college with Tom & Alex and British India!
